My favourite singer

Today I want to talk about my favourite singer, his name is Kurt Donald Cobain, but his artistic name was Kurt Cobain.
He was born in Abeerdeen- Washington the 20th of february of 1967 and he die in Seattle- Washington the 5th of April of 1994.
He started to sing at two years old and he started to touch the piano and write songs when he was 4 years old, his first songs was about when he went to the park, when he was 10 he started to played the battery and when he was 14 his uncle gift a guitar to Kurt.
The childhood of Kurt Cobain was difficult, because his parents (Donald Lenald Cobain and Wendy Elizabeth Fradenburg) was divorced when he was nine years old, his parents married again with other persons, a new brothers and sisters appears. That fact affected in Kurt, because their parents was pending of his brothers and he was alone. His childhood was so lonely, and he always wanted to has the classical family.
He never was an excellent student, in the classes he always was drawing.
When Kurt Cobain was teenager, the other students started to bullied him because he was the friend of a gay guy, he was so lonely and started to wrote more songs and played the guitar and sang more, (he sang and played the guitar 2 hours every day.).

Then he went to live with his girlfriend and when she was in the work Kurt Cobain kept the house and played the guitar.
He started to do concerts in a bars, and early he started to made discs, like Nevermind, a succes with the song "Smells like teen spirit",and Kurt Cobain and his band Nirvana, got fame.


Kurt Cobain was so sad because he doesn't likes the fame and he break with his girlfriend, but the fame every time was biggest.
In 1991 Kurt Cobain met Courntey Love,a singer and they married and had a dughter, Francess Bean Cobain.
Early Kurt started to ate drugs because his wife ate drugs, since one day, when Courtney trick Kurt with other man and he ate a lot of drugs, he fells in coma, and when he wokes up of the coma, he wrotes a letter and then he suicide.

Office chair racing in Taiwan:

In Taiwan appears a new competition, it's not an Olympic sport, but the people get exiting with that, that competition are the Office chair racing.

The first event was in Japan seven years ago, where the people disguise of dragons in honour of Japanese origins.

Now, the people from Taiwan took that new sport and celebrate thet race in their contry.
The chair racing is a fun and difficult sport.

Vocabulary:

Competitor: A person who competes/tries to be the best and win in a race/event.

Costume: Clothes wore by a character in a story, movie, or TV show.

Honour: To show respect.

Bar with dog waiters

Do you know what think make special the Bar D'Alsace-tian, no, it isn't a special place with a special food, they has other special thing, the waiters, because that waiters are specials, they walk with 4 foot, they has fur, and they are friendly, yes! The waiters are dogs!

This friendly animals been trained to deliver the people.

But you make a reservation you can eat and drink your favourite beer in that special place.

And we think, how the dogs understand what we want?

Because the dogs wear a little barrels and you unlock that to find a little bottle inside.

You can visit the bar only for a few hours in London on Fridays.

Elephants retire from a circus

This 17th of May of 2016 the Circus Rinling Brothers decided to retire their elephants from the circus. They retire 11 elephants.
The elephants was send to the conservation centre in Florida, where there are a place for the elephants can live, and they can live a wild life but they are keep by the workers of the conservation centre.
But there are still a lot of elephants in captivity.
In the wild there are 40.000 elephants.
Only in United States there are 39 in the centre of Florida.

Vocabulary:
Centrepiece: The most important part of something.
Conservation centre: A place where animals can live safely.
Captivity: Not in the wild.

The winter

The winter is my favourite season of the year, because I love wear jackets, whol hats and scarfs, and when the winter is coming I bought a lot of scarfs and hats.


I love winter because I love the cold, you can eat hot drinks, use a lot of blankets and enjoy with your favourite book or movie in your house.

You can use a lot of socks and you don't suffer the summer hot.

I love it too because i´s time for Christmas, family time. And the winter nights are the best to sleep very well.


But the worst of winter is you cannot go outside for a lot of time for the cold.

Paris

The last summer I went to Paris 4 days and it ws a beautiful and really big city, now I understand why Paris is the city of the lights, because at the night Paris is full of lights in every place.
I think you need a lot of days to visit all of Paris.

The first day:
We arrive in Paris and we went to the apartment and a woman showed us the rooms. Then we went to see the city and to bought food, then was to late and we went to dinner in a restaurant, the potatoes in Paris are the best.

The second day:
We woke up and we breakfast, then, we went to visit the Eiffel Tower, it was giant.
When you see the tower in photos is more little. I was impressed, and it was so beauty.
Then, we took a boat to travel the river Sena like a bus, we vistited pert of Paris like the Louvre (but we didn't entered because you need 1 hour to see all the museum), the opera, the Notre-Dame,...

The third day:
We went to Versailles to see the palace of the Sun King and Mª Antonieta but to saw the inside of the palace we needed one morning of queque and we only visited the gardens with a golf car because the garden was enormous.
I was so impressed with the gardens because you can build a town in it.

The fourth day:
We return to home.

Paris is a city with a lot and interesting history, it's a rich city with a lot of culture.
The Versailles palace has a very interesting story too, and when you saw the palace in persn, you understand why the French people had a revolution and cuts the head of the King and the Queen.
